Excavate existing stone material which was uncomfortable on bare feet, replace with proper base material, then install 2” of Porous Pave XLR between the beautiful retaining wall stairs and around the patio to allow for comfortable barefoot.
The excavation, base prep and Porous Pave installation was completed in less than 9 hours and the customer was able to use the area the next day. The material was mixed in front of the house and transported via wheelbarrow to the installation site around the back side of the property.
Before installing Porous Pave XLR, the customer had to wear shoes just to reach the lake due to sharp, uncomfortable stones. Now, with the smooth, shock-absorbent texture of Porous Pave XLR, they can kick off their shoes at the door and enjoy easy, pain-free access straight to the water!
