Ferris State’s disc golf course is dedicated to the 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021 National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship teams. Course designed by Carl Bouman and Dr. Leonard Johnson, this course offers a variety of distance shots, accompanied by a few wooded sections. Out of bounds lurks on almost every hole. Located on the south end of campus this course is also accessible from the Ferris State Racquet and Fitness Center. GO BULLDOGS!
Porous Pave Inc handled the installation in two phases, day 1 was all of the blue tees and day 2 the remaining red tees. The team utilized a mixer mounted on a trailer along with a Kubota UTV to easily access the entire site and efficiently install all 36 tee pads in two days.
Players on U Disc had issues with the old gravel teeing areas and claimed the layout was confusing. With the new color coordinated Porous Pave pads reviews have come back positive, players have an easier time understanding the layout with the color coordinated tees and baskets.
